One of the lesser-known features of an ottoman bed is the split top: instead of a single, one-piece top, it's divided into two independent sections.
When do you need it? If your ceiling is low, if there's a lamp or a sloped ceiling directly above the bed, or if you simply prefer to open only half to quickly grab something without lifting the entire weight of the mattress, the split top is the solution.
It's also useful in small rooms where the mattress doesn't have enough space to tilt fully upwards.
Not sure if your room needs a split top? Write to us on WhatsApp with your ceiling measurements, and we'll confirm it for you before you buy.
